Opening in September 2017--Popina is a neighborhood restaurant bringing you food from Chris McDade and drink by James O’Brien who met at Danny Meyer’s Maialino in Gramercy Park. Growing up in Georgia, McDade cooks italian fare mixed with Southern sensibilities. He specializes in pasta and looks to combine flavors of his upbringing mixed within an Italian backdrop. O’Brien looks to complement McDade’s food with an exciting beverage program from its beer and cocktail program to its acclaimed wine list.
